Pocket the Moon going on an indefinite hiatus
Hey everyone.
We have decided to go our separate ways and leave Pocket the Moon behind for the time being. Geoff and I are still very much on good terms. However, I want to take my solo music a step further and really pursue being a solo singer/songwriter.
You have definitely not heard the last from either Geoff or myself. You can continue to follow Geoff in his other projects (Low UFO, Divine Isis), and I will definitely be doing my solo thing. For more information on that, visit http://saracrawford.net. I also have some collaborations in the works with other artists, and I have many other artistic projects in the work as always (upcoming play readings and productions, an upcoming book of poems to be released, etc.).
I wanted to write and say thank you to everyone for all of the support. This past year has been a total blast, and we were able to accomplish so much in a short period of time because of your support. Thank you for coming to our shows, thank you for listening to our album, thank you for voting us Best New Band and Best Folk Act in Creative Loafing, thank you for giving us the ability to go on tour, thank you for watching our video on YouTube, thank you for eating the moon pies and carrying around our Pocket the Municorns. Thank you for everything.
